Salinas de Cádiz founded i 2020, with its
brand Dama Blanca, is a family project born
from the passion of two people in love with
the sea, living in a privileged environment
with more than 3,000 years of history in the
artisanal harvesting of salt.
Our mission is to recover the salt traditions of the sea and inspire both families and cooks to season their meals with our delicate and exquisite Virgin Sea Salt, Flor de Sal and Flor de Sal flakes that provide the complete natural minerals essential to enhance the flavor of food. They are also unique, of limited production and harvested by hand in the Bay of Cadiz Natural Park.
The artisanal salt marshes are one of the few places where the intervention of man’s hand increases biodiversity. Flora and fauna are the protagonists of this environment, as many birds choose this space to rest, nest and breed.
During the months of April and May we suspend the salt cultivation activity, to favor the research work of the University of Cadiz in the breeding of species such as the Avocet, Stilt Sandpiper, Kentish Plover…
