It is a humid ecological sea salt. It is created after precipitating the flower of salt to the bottom of the salt marsh, by the effect of wind and humidity and after remaining in it for 72 hours, it forms large and very fine flakes. It is harvested by hand every three days, then dried in the sun and packaged by hand with great care so as not to undo the flakes. The flor de sal flake is not processed and provides minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium, iodine and other trace elements in a natural way.
Flaked flowers of salt is flat with an indefinite size, crunchy when it crumbles by simple finger pressure and of large grammage formed by fine crystals. Flower of salt flakes provide an excellent crunchy and aesthetic touch, ideal to add a visual touch to the plating, as well as to enhance and nuance the flavors of already cooked dishes. It works very well with meats, salads and powerful and sweet ingredients, with whose flavor it can relate well, as is the case of dark chocolate, caramel or honey, among others.
