Tasting comments
Fine Virgin Sea Salt, is an ecological salt of artisanal collection that is formed on the bottom of the crystallizer, by natural evaporation of sea water and the action of the sun and wind. It is harvested with the rod every 20 to 25 days in the summer months, piled up in barachas or pyramids of salt, where it dries for 72 hours. Finally, to obtain the fine grain size, it is passed through the mill and packed by hand. The fine virgin sea salt is not processed and contains minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium…
Suggested consumption
Fine virgin sea salt has a thickness of approximately 1.2 mm and a very high dissolving speed, which makes it ideal for seasoning delicate products that are not going to be cooked and always with the intention of “rounding” the desired flavor without too much salt concentration. It is mainly used for salads and cold dishes, sauces and seasoning of fried products, such as potatoes or fish. In confectionery it is the most used, since it is used in small doses and only to enhance certain aromas. If we were to use coarse salt, we would run the risk of turning the dessert into a salty one.
